The SteelSeries Apex Pro Gen 3 is a full-size wired gaming keyboard with a black US layout. Its main QWERTY keys use OmniPoint 3.0 adjustable magnetic switches, offering 40 actuation settings from 0.1 mm to 4.0 mm. Rapid Trigger dynamically adjusts each key’s activation and reset points, while Protection Mode reduces the sensitivity of surrounding keys to help prevent unintended inputs.

Additional functions include Rapid Tap, which prioritises the most recently pressed key within a configured pair, and 2-in-1 Action Keys, which allow two commands to be assigned at different actuation depths.

The keyboard features double-shot PBT keycaps, per-key RGB illumination, an OLED display for onboard controls and a detachable braided USB-C cable. Per-key lubrication, improved stabilisers and three layers of sound-dampening foam are incorporated into its construction.
