Printworks Wood Chess – The Surrealist - Where strategy meets imagination. The Surrealist Chess Set bends reality at the board’s edge, transforming the traditional game of chess into a striking sculptural experience. Wavy, fluid forms replace rigid geometry, giving each piece an unexpected sense of movement and illusion.

Crafted in glossy natural wood with bold orange-red accents, the design captures the dreamlike energy of the Surrealist art movement. Familiar forms become beautifully unconventional, creating a chess set designed to be played, displayed and admired.

Part of Printworks’ The Legacy Collection, The Surrealist celebrates defining movements in art and architecture through the timeless strategy of chess. Each edition transforms an influential design language into sculptural play — where form meets history and a classic game becomes a collectible expression of cultural legacy.

A distinctive statement piece for the coffee table, home or office, and an exceptional gift for chess, art and design enthusiasts.
