LifeColor paints are water based acrylic colours for modelling and hobby painting. They are excellent for both paint brushing and airbrushing onto plastic, resin, metal, vinyl, wood, cloth and ceramic. This wide range of paints includes basic gloss and matt colours and mimetic, based on the Federal Standard 595b correspondence and each label shows the equivalent FS number. The range offers many paints grouped into convenient sets for specific subjects, including tanks, aircraft, uniforms/figures, ships, railways and weathering. The WWII AXIS Aircraft Interior set contains the two R.L.M. colours for the WWII German aircraft cockpits and inner surfaces and two colours for the Regia Aeronautica aircraft interiors. There were different types of “Verde Anticorrosione”, depending on the paint supplier. The “Grigio Azzurro Chiaro 1” was also used as a standard colour for the italian aircraft lower surfaces. It includes Grigio Azzurro Chiaro 1 UA 525 FS 36307, Verde Anticorrosione UA 5019 FS 34558, Grau UA 504 R.L.M. 02 and Schwarzgrau UA 5020 R.L.M. 66.
