Why this kit matters The Hawker Hurricane Mk.II C/TROP played a crucial role in the air defence of North Africa during World War II, particularly during the desert campaigns.

The "TROP" designation refers to the tropical filter system, designed to protect the engine in dusty, harsh desert environments.

The Mk.II version, equipped with a more powerful engine and improved armament, was essential in repelling the Axis forces in the region.

This model kit captures all the features that made the Hurricane a reliable and effective fighter during some of the most challenging conditions.

Built in large numbers, the Hurricane was one of the few aircraft types that participated in nearly every theatre of war, making it a key component of the RAF's success.
